Taskwell – Next Start is a productivity app for ADHD adults who freeze, drift, and abandon tasks — each session can update tomorrow’s next start. This page covers install options, Premium, and your account.
Taskwell is a productivity tool for starting and restarting work. It is not medical care, diagnosis, or treatment for ADHD or any condition.

How do I get Taskwell?
Easiest: join the launch list on gettaskwell.com for public App Store (iPhone) and Play Store (Android).
iPhone beta (optional): some builds are distributed with Apple TestFlight. That takes a few extra steps and is iPhone-only. If the invite says it isn’t accepting testers, use the launch list instead.
What is “Your next start”?
After you finish or quit a focus block, Taskwell uses what happened (including how hard starting felt and why you stopped) to suggest tomorrow’s next block — length, a first move, and simple warnings. Free uses your last session; Premium can use a fuller week of patterns.
How do I upgrade to Premium?
Open Taskwell, go to Profile, and tap the Premium upgrade button. Premium is planned at $7.99 per month after public launch and is billed through your Apple ID when purchases are available.
What is the Comeback Guarantee?
After activation, Taskwell tracks your restart-within-24h rate for 14 days. If that rate does not improve vs your early baseline, open Profile → Comeback and use Claim Comeback Guarantee (or email [email protected]). We’ll make the first month right, including helping with App Store / Play Store refunds where required. This is not medical advice or a clinical outcome guarantee.
How do I restore purchases?
Go to Profile → Restore purchases. You must use the same Apple ID that originally bought Premium. If restore succeeds, Premium will activate on this device.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not Taskwell directly. To cancel:
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top (Apple ID)
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Taskwell (or TaskWell – Next Start)
- Tap Cancel Subscription
You can also manage subscriptions at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. You keep Premium access until the end of the current billing period.
What is included in Free vs Premium?
Free includes tasks, the focus timer, and a Next Start based on your last session (quit reason, resistance, and context). Premium compounds a week of patterns into sharper starts, plus deeper insights and reminder timing options.
Beta feedback (what to try)
If you’re on the iPhone TestFlight build, this ~10-minute path helps most:
- Finish onboarding (name → task → short proof session).
- Start a focus block, then stop early and pick a quit reason.
- Open Home → check Your next start → tap Start this block.
- Confirm Timer loads the suggested length/task.
Then email [email protected] with:
- What felt useful
- What still felt like “just a timer”
- Any crash or confusion (device + iOS version if you can)
My purchase failed or Premium did not unlock
Try these steps:
- Check your internet connection
- Confirm you are signed into the App Store with the correct Apple ID
- Tap Profile → Restore purchases
- Force-quit Taskwell and reopen it
If it still fails, email [email protected] with a screenshot of the error. During TestFlight testing, purchases may show [Environment: Sandbox] — that is expected.
Sign in with Google or Apple is not working
Use the same sign-in method you used when you created your account. If you see a message that sign-in is not enabled, email us — we can help on our side. Include the exact error message and which provider you tried (Google or Apple).
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Delete account. This is permanent and removes your tasks, sessions, daily entries, and account data. If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account and we will help.
I am not getting notifications
Open Settings → Notifications → Taskwell on your iPhone and make sure notifications are allowed. Also check any reminder settings inside the app on your Profile screen.
Subscription terms
